I have booked a week at centre parcs whinfell. Really looking forward to it. It will be our first trip away with our 18 m old. Does anyone have any hints /.tips and how to get the most out of it and make it as smooth as possible ?! 😁

Well we have booked the spa for a 3 hour session. We have booked the crèche aswell. He settles very easily with others and they must be accredited staff. Has anyone else happened to use the crèche ?

Great idea 💡 I have booked the pub at about 11:30 as I expect we will have just arrived and DS will need his lunch. So I was thinking lunch and swim bags ready for afterwards (as hopefully he will have slept) and then we should be able to get into a lodge. We will likely stay in for the night and settle in. Can't help but think this will disrupt his sleep pattern. He usually sleeps midday for a few hours for time in the car in the morning and surely going to send him off 🧐

Amazing! Although I took my LO swimming just the other day and he was a handful although I was by myself with him. We plan on doing the same, normal bedtime which is also 7pm and we will eat in. How did you order for delivery to the cabin ??? X thanks for this advice x

It’s a thing called Restaurant Runner. You get a little card in your lodge with the details. Order online and they bring it right to you.

You’ll have an amazing time! I love centre Parcs it’s so relaxing with children! We eat out every night because it doesn’t feel like a holiday if I’m cooking. For breakfast we just take our usual with us and lunch we go to the bakery in the Parcmarket and buy a sandwich or pasty.

the pool is really great we go everyday before our evening meal to ensure we are hungry and worked up an appetite. Swim vests are availability throughout the water park for free. The children’s swim area is delightful with small slides a splash area and warmer water.

the kiddies disco is super as is the arcade and bowling alley for an after dinner treat.

id do no more than one activity a day, I recommend the sensory experience for under threes. There’s a small indoor play area but I think it might be a bit too big for your little one.
