Hi

I would like to book a trip to Norfolk in October and am looking for recommendations on where to stay. I have a 4 year old and it would be great if there was somewhere with an indoor pool.

Thank you

Haven Seashore has a good pool for small children.

Do you want a holiday cottage, a hotel, a caravan site? I think we need a bit more info and an idea of budget, to be able to advise.

Must do...
Bewilderwood
Sheringham Steam train

What type of budget, you'd get a Haven on the coast fairly cheaply.
Or Premier Inn in Norwich and use Riverside Pool if you aren't fussed about evening entertainment. Norwich theatre, Puppet Theatre and Norwich Castle are all walkable in the city and the rest of Norfolk easily accessible as Norwich is so central.

Searles Hunstanton for caravan/seaside. Indoor pool AND really nice indoor kids paddle pool/slides/water squirrels. Small soft play.

We live really locally but my DC still love it there

I'm interested in a caravan, a holiday cottage or glamping.
With regard to budget, no more than £200 a night.
It would be nice to be near a beach.

Kelling heath is lovely and has caravans, tents, glamping and lodges I believe the Steam train I mentioned stops there too, easy to access other North Norfolk sites. You might find a show on Cromer pier, Horrible Histories visit often.

Definitely do North Norfolk, priceless

Haven Caister has the nicest beach access out of all the Norfolk Havens, but Seashore is closer to Great Yarmouth. We’ve stayed at all of them but our favourite is Caister, you can get to Yarmouth easily and also to Southwold (Suffolk I know) which has a more old fashioned, classier feel but it’s fun to do both. Bewilderwood is definitely worth a visit. We also have some very good zoos - Thrigby, Banham, Africa Alive, they all do a lot of conversation work. You can also visit Norwich for a nice day out - the castle is being renovated but some areas are now open.

Thank you. Those suggestions sound great, I will look into them all.

I booked my visit to Holkham Hall via HeritageXplore which I'd not done before and had the best time on the beach and exploring the house

Sheringham has an indoor pool with a cool splash pad area. Seaside town with a regular station and a steam train station. A couple of little arcades.
