Has anyone in a wheelchair been? What is it like?

Also, what is it like for visually impaired?

What is food like? We both have allergies.

If not Kew, where else?

Thank you!

It is fine for wheelchairs, flat and there is good accessibility everywhere. You can also book a mobility scooter for free in advance. Food in the larger restaurant away from the entrance is good, not so good near the entrance as it is mostly sandwiches and gets busy. There is some disabled parking nearby IIRC. Ring them, they are very helpful.

Thank you both!!!

Accessibility good on paths etc., food poor imo and we had to return the items in the cafe, as they were obviously made from mixes and not cooked. We were first in and the tables were filthy. I also find that the noise from aircraft and traffic ruined the garden experience and I much prefer Wisley for the planting, beauty of the planting and even the food!

Thank you. I don't think I've been to wisley, but we enjoyed Savill garden

Accessibility will be fine. Food is very poor. There are some nice cafes around the high street. If I was going again I would take a picnic or buy food before you go in

Thank you. Picnic it is!
