We are a family of 4 and would like to go to a holiday park near the beach
Our son has additional needs. We can't have anything to loud and busy but something with a swimming pool play area and soke grass to burn the energy off!
It has to be during the summer holidays and the maximum I have is £1000 so please nowhere to expensive but I would really appreciate any help and ideas.
Thank you ❤️

Have you looked at the Hoseseasons website? You can book holiday parks all over the country through them. Search by date, price, area, facilities.

i don’t think I’ve ever been anywhere louder or busier than the swimming pool on a caravan site during the summer holidays! The restaurant / bar was also hell on earth with kids running around everywhere and music thumping away from the kids disco next door. It was sensory overload for someone who’s NT!
i would seriously look at hiring a cottage with nearby local amenities instead.
what part of the country are you looking in or how far are you willing to drive? (Assuming you’re driving or your options are more limited!!

Park holidays tend to be a bit more sedate but still have pool, bar etc but in quieter areas of the country than Haven etc. They have some parks on the Suffolk coast which are nice.

Which part of country?

We've done cottages the past few years but there's not enough to keep him occupied (he is like a duracell bunny!) We think if we time it well we should manage swimming pool in quiet times.
We are quite happy to drive anywhere but preferences for a variety of reasons are not South Wales, Scotland or South East of England. 😊

if you would consider a cottage with pool and access to a playground I can recommend Scolton Country Cottages in Pembrokeshire. There is a small country park with a fab kids play away and woods to run around in right next to the cottage complex. Surrounded by fields and quiet at night. Close to lovely beaches and some great child friendly attractions.

Play area, not play away.

North Wales gas some very quiet beaches not too far off the beaten track I can post some links if you need any?
It also has plenty of holiday parks from Quiet to busy, the thing we like is you are never far from tranquility, usually a short drive down the road

Look at park holidays, choose the ones that are smaller, outdoor pools aren't as noisy. If to one in Paignton once and also dawlish
