Holiday park or similar with 4 teens this summer

Now Christmas is done I'm turning my attention to holiday's Grin. This summer I'd like to find somewhere I can take 4 teenagers 14-16 away for a week (longer would be great) where they can hang out much as they would at home but with beach or pool and possibly near a town so they can have a bit of independence & freedom whilst I work (remote) most of the day. Initial idea was rent a house in a town on the south coast for a few weeks but prices are ridiculous so now wondering if somewhere like a centre parcs or Butlins/Hoseasons might be worth looking at but not sure if they are more for younger kids and whether we'd find more than a week too much.
Anyone done similar with teens? Did it work and where did you go?

Sun newspaper doing their deals on holidays we went to campsite in France that worked well. There are loads of options in Cornwall on their lists some look run down but some look great.

Cruise would be great, our kids loved them, I think they even had a better time than us!
Some of the Haven Places do cater for Teens so well worth a look.
Have you considered a cheap caravan / camping holiday to keep cost down and get the kids to plan and book activities with the money saved, sort of kids holiday but taking Mum?
North Wales has some very nice sea side towns, but plenty of activities for them to do.
One I have seen done is the 24 Castles of North Wales as a road trip.
Liverpool, Chester and then North Wales, bit of City Life, History and adventure all in the same holiday.
Some ideas here

Some stand out Activities ours loved.
Liverpool Docks speed boat trip, just fantastic.
Canoeing to a deserted island, ( Ours are both Lifeguards so strong swimmers)
Crocky Trail adventure park near Chester, massive Adventure trail
Camping next to the beach with a log fire, toasting food

We love Center Parcs and it would allow them all to have a bit of freedom and independence but generally they aren't near to towns so they wouldn't be able to walk into a town centre. They would be able to take themselves swimming, for a walk, to an activity, for a Starbucks etc though so it would probably work well. However, the parcs do tend to be pretty dead in the evenings (although it sounds like yours are too young for a proper nightlife anyway)

Park holidays are fairly reasonable, there's one in Paignton that's walking distance from things to do, book the best standard of caravan you can afford though as the grades mean older and tattier generally though to get honest a bit of peeled wallpaper really doesn't matter. They have lots of other parks significantly cheaper than butlins or centreparcs.

Another option is to price up going to somewhere like Normandy, it can be surprisingly cheap despite the ferry, but they would need passports of course.
