Hi all, my partner and my 11 month old by then are looking to goto London for 5 days over Christmas 22nd-27th can any one recommend any restaurants to go to for Christmas dinner? Nothing ridiculously expensive like the Ritz I've already had a look and it's £600 PP ! Plus I'd feel really uncomfortable some where like that. There are so many options on line. The IVY would be good but unsure if you can take children ? Any recommendations would be great thanksSmile

I haven’t been in years so recommend reading the latest reviews but Le Pont de la Tour and Butlers Wharf chop house used to be excellent. You can search for other places out there (Butlers Wharf, just across the Tower Bridge to the left) or at St Katherine’s Docks. I used to leave down there and the area is beautiful at Christmas time!

Agree look at restaurants in St Katherine’s Dock and the old pubs on the waterfront in Wapping if they are open - as will be v close to you - 5 min walk along Dickensian cobbled streets v atmospheric. I expect the ethic restaurants in Brick Lane might be open - again that’s no too far away.
