Looe in Cornwall - things to do and things to see?

We have rented a house in Looe, Cornwall for a week in May. We are planning a trip to Eden Project, and I was wondering if there is anywhere else that is worth a vist or any recomendations for beaches to spend the day at. DD will be 13 months so things need to be easily accessable with buggy. Thank You.

The National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth
Fowey is also a nice village nearby
I know more beaches in Devon really so better wait for someone else to give advice on that.

Gardens (if you like them
Eden is ok, wasn't what I expected (get Tesco deals vouchers if you have points),
Heligan is good
trebah.
We also went to Glendurgan

Plymouth Aquarium is good (esp for a wet day), interesting for adults as well as kids (though not sure for a 13mo) - again get Tesco vouchers.
The Goonhilly Satelite place is interesting - again to adults aswell, (again Tesco vouchers), probably only a couple of hours visit. Not 13mo friendly though - but mentioning for others.
Flambards last year was a great day (...tesco!!), we had to drag 5yo ds away at the end of the day, lots of tame rides but bigger ones aswell.
Lappa Valley or Dobwells for trains - kiddy centred though, depends if you do that sort of thing. Lappa if really lovely - has the trains, pitch-n-puy, walks, play area, boating lake, Dobwells if potential for rain as it has a massive indoor soft play, but basically it is just train rides

with 13mo is difficult, they aren't that interested in anything for any length of time - we first went with ds when he was 20mo. Lovely weather that year and we spent alot of time on the beach.

We go to Looe most years as it is so pleasant.
We like Flambards as it has a war museum but it is quite a drive from looe.

The Jamaica Inn is nice for a lunch

A stroll around Newquay , plenty of sea life centre type places about.

Oh and you have to go crabbing in Looe harbour. Dh loves the fact he can tell people he went for a pint in Looe and caught crabs but his wife doesn't mind.
