Nice places to eat in Plymouth:
by day, go to the market - bottom of the town, area isn't salubrious but there's lots of nice places to eat in there. Thai, Japanese, Mauritanian, Korean, Nepalese - can't remember what else has opened now!

Evenings - Royal William Yard has Wagamama, Pho and Pizza Express or Hubbox which is a great burger joint and started in Cornwall. Also a nice French place and another pizza place I can't remember the name of.

If you like steak, Miller and Carter is good but expensive. Almost next door to that is a fabulous restaurant called Supha's - you'll need to book. Mixture of SE Asian cuisines and fresh fish / shellfish. Absolutely glorious.

Plymouth Gin Distillery is a good visit, but can't remember if it's any cop for accessibility needs. Lovely bar in there as well as a good restaurant.

Visits - Eden Project is good but pricey. If you have mobility scooters for PIL it's great otherwise it's a lot of walking. They usually have one or two scooters to borrow, but it's first come first served so not always available.

If you like a swim, the Tinside Lido is gorgeous but cold!

Weather this week is crap, so hope you get some sunshine in amongst it all!

Thanks , will look those places up. PIL can get about, not for long distances. Haven't been to Eden project for years, will def think about that.

The Cremyll Ferry is a foot ferry to Mount Edgecombe which is a country park just over the river in Cornwall. It’s near Royal William Yard.

Book the distillery tour in advance. It’s about 45 minutes but interesting and you get a G&T in the very nice bar included.

You could drive to Mountbatten in Plymstock. There is a water sports centre and a beach. You can walk along the breakwater and get some lovely views of all the water based activity.

Tavistock is a few miles out and an attractive town for a wander and a cafe stop. Beautiful moorland scenery on the way.

Royal William us lovely for a wander. Depending on mobility you can walk around Devil’s Point which has fabulous views and walk down some steps into Royal William Yard. Definitely worth having a meal there as it’s a beautiful historic place.
