U.K. holiday park - where’s the best? Not CP

Any recommendations for a holiday park in the U.K.? Ideally with a good pool, maybe some sprinklers in the children’s part and some animals on site. After reading recent reviews on trip advisor for all centre parcs we’ve dismissed that based on reviews saying the lodges are dirty.

Tempted by bluestone but doesn’t have the animals I believe. Would be going in term time with a 2YO & 2/3MO.

Thanks

I've been to that haven site, it's not posh but it's fun for little ones. The reality is all holiday parks are based on people cleaning themselves, they allow very little time between clients to sent their cleaners in so they dont do more than a quick vacuum and clean the toilet.

We've never had to clean at a holiday park! We use Away Resorts, haven and Hoseasons.

Highly recommend Away Resorts, IoW in particular.

Never come across one with animals though op apart from Nodes Point on IoW which has horses stables there in the summer.

@SteveBuscemisRheumyEye It was a Sandaya campsite, Sequoia parc not too far from La Rochelle. Highly recommend, stayed in one of the premium lodges which had the cleaning included so it was spotless and around the pools were super clean. Will probably go back next year.

@cocksstrideintheevening will take a look, would love to go IoW but would need a week due to travel

What are you looking for? The concept of center parcs is everything on site and people are recommending places with day trips which is not quite the same holiday! Personally I’ve never had an issue with cleanliness at CP. have you looked at hoseasons? Most have much less on site than CP though. Haven’t been but sandy balls is often recommended.

I highly recommend Flear Farm. They have a pool, hot tubs, tennis court, spa, play area. It’s a wonderful place! Fab for kids. We love it there- much better than centre parks

@Fran92 we had an issue with ants the length of the caravan.
They couldn’t move us as it was full… They also weren’t apologetic and wouldn’t refund if we left.
We spent the weekend swatting ants.
They actually give you a leaflet about the ants when you arrive!!!!!
