London with 3 kids

Please help me plan my 2 day trip to London with the kids. Myself and Husband want to take the kids as they've never properly done a sightseeing trip.

I'm thinking all the main attractions such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben/parliament, Covent Garden, Natural History museum, hamleys, Harrods.

Likely getting the coach into Victoria and staying in south bank (not yet booked so open to suggestions). In what order should we do things in to maximise our time?

How old are your kids? If they can handle walking a bit, then walking along the south bank is good for seeing Big Ben and lots of other stuff (plenty going on). Buckingham Palace is very close to Victoria, so you can go on the tube to South Kensington for the museums from there (or get the bus - free sightseeing! The 11 is best and goes past loads of the sights).

You might as well do Harrod's when you go to the museums as Knightsbridge is close to South Ken.

You can do Hamley's / Regent St., Oxford Street all in one go and walk through Soho to Covent Garden.

You'll have a great time!

Kids are 9, 7 and 5. They can walk a fair way but definitely think the hop on hop off bus would be a good idea. Is buck palace walkable from Victoria?

Yes, Buckingham Palace is about 5-10mins from Victoria. Just straight down Buckingham Palace Road

Sounds like you already have enough on your itinerary but other ideas would be a visit to the Sky Garden which is free (but has to be booked in advance) and the Tower of London. These are both further East than the other places you mentioned though, so maybe for another trip . . .

The Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London is also very interesting, but again has to be booked in advance.
