Will be with a 5, 15 and 14 year old.

Thanks

Not somewhere I would chose to be honest, there are nicer places to visit in the SE coast, like Brighton? Much more to do, perhaps better suited for kids.

Thank you. Have been to Brighton lots before so was hoping with it's up and coming image that Hastings would be a nice change.

It’s a great place for a weekend. The old town is nice to walk round. The beach is good. There are furnicular trains from Victorian times that you can ride up the cliffs to the castle and the caves. The caves/pirate exhibit is brilliantly bad - worth a visit. The crazy golf courses are great. There’s a cute wee aquarium. Lots of great fish and chip shops. Check out the pier. See what’s on at white rock theatre. Also there’s a thriving live music scene - lots of great local bands.
Slightly further afield there’s Battle too.

It’s ok if u like stony beaches, it’s not great.

We are thinking of relocating there, would you say its a good place for a 13 year old? Also can you recommend schools please?

Yeah it's fine! You can go to Rye nearby that's nice, and Camber Sands if you want sandy beach.
