Birthday cocktails in central London

We are going out for a family dinner soon to celebrate our dd's 18th birthday. Any suggestions for where to go for a cocktail before dinner? I was thinking of the Alchemist but you can't book for a Saturday.

DD and I love dirty martini in Covent Garden.

For an 18yo I’d go to Aqua Kyoto in Argyll St. The view is fab & would feel super grown up for her.

The Alchemist (there are a few). Fab cocktail menu and very theatrical.

This was years ago so might be no good now but the bar at Sandersons was pretty cool from what I remember.

Mr Fogg's? www.mr-foggs.com

Why not give Cahoots a ring and see? If it’s just one 18 year old they might be okay.
Mr Foggs has a couple of places which are good. There’s Ballie McBallerson which isn’t cocktails per se but a funny night. You could also think about The Sky Gardens.

Did you decide on somewhere? I'm looking for similar (although all over 21). We only want to go for one cocktail - Cahoots is already booked up and Disrepute requires a minimum spend of £25 per head for parties of 6.
Any other Soho suggestions (we are going to a matinee and then eating at another restaurant in Soho at 6.30 on a Saturday.

I just went to book Cahoots but it's for over 21s. Do you think this is something they stick to?
I can't book a table at Savoy's American bar without staying there.
Any other ideas in the Soho and Covent Garden area?

We have been to cahoots with one of the group being under that age- maybe 18 if I remember rightly. They did notice- but let it slide- she was my friends daughter so we were an older group - cahoots is brilliant- I can't praise it enough. Be warned, it spoils all other cocktails for life for you!

Thank you for all the suggestions! I didn't dare book cahoots as my older daughter is also under 21! I didn't want to take the risk of giving my credit card details to reserve the booking and then be turned away.
So many places are over 21s or don't taking bookings. So I've booked Mr Foggs in Soho. I think that might be over 21s but according to the reviews they don't seem to worry about it.
If it doesn't work out we will be off to Wetherspoons! 😂

I've just had a confirmation email for Mr Foggs and it states that all guests must be over 21!
I'll try and find somewhere else!
