Taking a family trip to see a few things. 2 children aged 2.5 & 4 months.

How do you know which stations are accessible with the pram so we can pre plan?

How do you get the pram through the barrier?

And frequently in tube stations, much easier to manage things with them on the board.

I had a bugaboo bee which I used locally and on buses. Only ever used the mclaren on the tube.

I also live in London (Zone 2) and travel into central regularly and have done for nearly 5 years, now with three under 5s. I have never had any issues with the buggy board for travelling in the station on tubes or buses. Obviously toddler needs to hop off and put it up when you're actually getting on or off as someone else said, but I actually find it easier as then my dependents are much more contained. you wouldn't also use the buggy board on an escalator but then you'd be in a lift rather than escalator with buggy too I'd have thought!

I have done this literally hundreds of times.

OK, fair enough. I've never done it and would hate to have my toddler travelling like that - I've never seen anyone else doing it either, but I believe you.

I had the baby in a sling and toddler in a buggy until he got too big, then the baby went in the buggy and the toddler walked. I couldn't be doing with them balancing and having to get them on and off, plus having to manoeuvre the board as well - I'd think any buggy with a board was too big for the tube in general. But clearly some people do do it, so I stand corrected and hope all goes smoothly Smile

Another one here who regularly uses a buggy board on the tube…

But I would still put the baby in a sling if you can, that’s easiest of all.

Live in London with four children and used the underground all the time both with the bugaboo cameleon and later the bee. Never had any problems. Can't remember if I used the buggy board on the underground though. Probably not on my own but definitely used it on buses plenty.
Good luck and enjoy your trip.
