Wasn't sure where to post this, just wondering if anyone could answer a few questions I have.

We are two adults and two under 5s, one of the under 5s is also under 3. If we go term time I can see you can buy a parent and toddler ticket for £25 online, it says to buy an additional normal ticket for an additional adult but you can't add them at this booking point it seems? Can I not just book two parent and toddler tickets particularly as we will have another under 5 with us (although I appreciate they are usually free anyway)? As I think this will work out much cheaper than buying a standard adult single ticket for the other adult? Has anyone done this before?

Secondly, are the parent and toddler tickets subject to the rainy day guarantee or not?

Finally, if it is quite rainy, are there any indoor attractions there or would it not be worth the visit?

Thanks! We have been planning a visit for absolutely ages but weather forecast for the dates we were planning isn't looking good.

I’m confused by your first question - why can’t you buy 2 adult and toddler tickets, given you are going with 2 under 5s?

in terms of indoor attractions, I would say not really. Some are indoors eg Justin’s House, but most of the rides are outdoors. I put rainsuits on them and crack on in the rain but if that wouldn’t work for you, I don’t think you’ll have a nice day trying to stay indoors im afraid.

It's because the website says under 3s are free, and if another adult wants to come with the one parent and one adult on a special toddler time ticket - which basically covers one adult and child aged 3-5 - the additional adult should buy a full price adult ticket. Which is way more expensive than another toddler time ticket. Does that make sense? However we will have another child, but that child is under 3 so free entry anyway.

Oh I see! I think you’re allowed to buy an adult and toddler ticket for under 3’s. From their perspective the point is you’re there with a kid and won’t be queuing up for smiler or whatever.

We are going in October with our 1 year old and 2 older children 7 and 9 as it inset day
I've booked 2 perants and tolder tickets (going to say one tolder was unable to attendif asked ) then ordered 2 tickets for my other children withe2 for 1 on cereal box offer
When u goo in the scan ur code they won't check the age of the toddler as the tickets are for under 5s

So just to let you know that when we went, the staff member who scanned the tickets did ask the age of both children and did make a comment about the youngest having been free etc with a bit of a raised eyebrow and that but we just gave them blank expressions and they didn't push it so we entered fine.

@SecondhandTable were they being funny because you can't by a parent and toddler ticket for an under 3 year old?

DH and I were going to go next month with our 2 year old. We have the kellogs 2-for-1 deal, for us adults, but were just going to turn up with the 2 year old because he doesn't need a ticket anyway?

Yep, but it was much cheaper for us to buy two parent and toddler tickets, than one parent and toddler ticket and then a full price adult ticket on top. I don't feel it was unreasonable either given we did have another under 5 with us. What you're planning sounds fine.
