Just arrived at Premier Inn and it has sealed windows..I've never been to a premier inn before where u can't open the windows?? So can't let any fresh air in. Bathroom smells musty.DH has just needed inhaler and he hasn't needed it for years!! I've just looked at reviews on Google and several people mention the windows. I didn't even cross my mind when I booked..

Stayed in a Travellodge - sealed windows but also a door requiring your key card to get to the bedrooms - so automatically sealed door. So no fresh air coming in doors OR windows. Pretty stuffy after a few days.

I work in a office with sealed windows and air con. It's either bloody freezing needing jumpers in the summer or boiling as air con isn't working. Currently over 3o degrees and no fresh air to be had. Give me opening windows and no air con any day

Usually sealed if on the first floor or above and if there is aircon.

My wife is stage 4 emphysema COPD and has periodic oxygen to assist her.
We have found more Premier Inns are changing to sealed bedroom windows.
While we understand the drive for energy savings technology, we can confirm the ACUs only recirculate air it’s not fresh air, plus they appear to be timed and unavailable at times.
To watch your wife gasping for air whilst attempting to exit the building when blood/oxygen level drop below 74% in the middle of the night is a harrowing experience 😡
