Hey All. Anyone used Wizzair before? Single mum to two teens here, I saved and saved for a holiday to Tenerife and it seemed like a bargain at the time...I've booked with them for the first time in co with LoveHolidays and I'm really appalled by all the add ons - and we haven't even left yet!

Shame you had to go to those lengths but very glad you got a good result.

Another Wizzair update that may be useful to anyone still waiting for flight delay or cancellation compensation.

We finally got our compensation of £1400 but only after we went through the small claims court. I don't think they would've paid us had we not taken this action.

When we hadn't heard anything about our claim after the 30 days we emailed Wizzair and gave them 14 days notice of legal action. Heard nothing back so went ahead and did an on line application to the small claims court.

Wizzair were then given two weeks to respond to our claim. After a week and a half the cash arrived in our account.

This process cost us £80 but was worth it.

Hope that helps anyone struggling to get refunds or compensation back from them.
