Human Anatomy - London - gallery or museum

My DC needs to take some photos of human anatomy either in art, or at a museum for Fine Art GCSE coursework. The Human Biology section of the Natural History Museum is closed currently and I don't know the art galleries well enough to know where is good for this kind of thing - can anyone recommend anywhere else we could go to find something suitable?

Try The Hunterian museum in Lincolns Inn, its full of anatomy parts and very interesting to wander around. You could also see if there is anything at the Wellcome Museum at the moment in Euston.

Oh the hunterian is closed till 2023 but the Wellcome have an exhibition on

National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery and both Tate galleries all have nudes. Also the Greek and Roman sculptures at the British museum. If it were me I'd go for the later Renaissance galleries in the Sainsburys wing of the National Gallery, because that's when artists were really learning how to represent people's bodies accurately.

National Portrait Gallery is closed until 2023.

I doubt Tate Modern has much 'realistic' anatomy on display.

Sculptures might be a good idea. V&A have some, including a full-scale copy of Michelangelo's 'David':

British Museum if DC wants to trace changes in the depiction of humans in art over millennia (eg Egyptian).

V&A also has some Rodin pieces which are good for this.

I think for GCSE FIne Art, the British Museum public galleries (free and accessible) are a good shout, given that everything else seems to be shut.

There's the remains of Lindow Man (bog body), the Egyptian exhibits as @Plexie says, and many sculptures of the human form from ancient and classical civilisations - Minoan, Mycenaean, Assyrian, classical. The galleries relating to European prehistory have been upgraded.

There's a debate to be had about displaying once living remains, giving a bit of 'edge' to any project, I suppose.

The Welcome Trust? wellcomecollection.org. Their gallery always displays exhibitions relating to medicine, medical research, anatomy. The nearest station is Euston.

The Wellcome's not that far from the BM. The V&A is a bit of a hike / tube ride.
