Booking activities for CP and the choice for 8-9 year olds is really limited. Lots seem to be 3-7 or 10+. Please can anyone recommend activities their children enjoyed at this age? Child is not keen on heights and will not consider anything aerial.

To be honest when I took my dd at that age she was happy just cycling around the site and going swimming. Saves money…!

We went recently with a 7 and 8 year old and they enjoyed meeting the owls, laser tag and bowling.

We've been a few times and it was only the last time we learned about the interactive family squash - it was brilliant x

We’ve just come back! He loved the swimming, cycling, cupcake decorating, teddy bear making and laser tag. That was plenty :). Oh and Uno!!

My 11 and 9 year olds have done and enjoyed pottery painting, quad bikes, electric boats, horse riding, bowling and the family ball wall. We go every year and tend to just do one paid for activity a day and then just do swimming/walking/playing in the playground and relaxing for rest of the day. I find that more than this and it becomes hectic.

The family ball wall is fantastic value for money, great exercise and nice for all ages to join in (9-70+ for us). It sells out super quickly though.

Going in January and planning to book the indoor climbing wall for my 8 year old DD and maybe either the pottery painting or teddy bear stuffing (probably the pottery as will fill more time). I was wondering about the willow weaving workshop for us to do together- it was minimum age 8 and under 12s need to be accompanied by a non-participating adult so I wouldn’t been myself as a participant, I’d help her. I’ve heard good things about it. Also booking the family interactive squash wall thing, plus lots of swimming!
