Wembley - travel and hotels tips

I posted last year for advice about entertaining my teenagers in London and got loads of really good advice and we had the best time so I'm back for more help.
We are going to watch the Women's Euros Final at Wembley at the end of July with my football mad autistic 13 year old daughter . I've never been to Wembley or done anything like this before. I'm trying to sort out where to stay and gauge how much of a nightmare it will be for her getting in and out. I think she'll be fine when she's there as she'll have football to concentrate on.
However she's going to find the crowds and crush difficult, particularly at the end so I want to be as prepared as possible.
Basically I want to know roughly how long it will take to get in and out, will it be impossible to get on a tube close by if we are staying elsewhere, any tips for budget accommodation within half an hour's walk, what are the closest tube stations and any tips about where would be less crammed. Any other travel options, I only ever use the tube.I've left it late to sort this out and am finding the closest budget hotels are full. can you point me in the right direction wise London women....

I've only just this weekend been at Wembley for a big event. Getting there was no problem as it's well serviced by a couple of tube lines. It was only 2 stops for us from Baker Street taking 10 mins or so and, as people tend to arrive is a slow steady stream over several hours, it's not too busy or difficult.

Getting out however....!
Wembley Park tube was awash with people. The police control the throughout but the queue backs up for ages. My DD struggles in crowded situations so we stepped out and weighed up options.

The local police were really helpful and directed us to the overground at Wembley Park which was a short walk ( 5 mins max). We were straight onto a platform and jumped onto a Chiltern Trains service into Marylebone from where we could pick up other transport links. Couldn't have been simpler.

We are back there in August for another gig and this will definitely be my route out of Wembley.
