Holiday park recommendations in Norfolk

Hi,

I’m looking at holiday camps in Norfolk for summer holiday, but not sure which one is best. We usually go to south coast but fancied a change this year. A family of 4 with a 9 & 11 year old.

Does anyone have any recommendations or any to avoid? Tips for days out would also be appreciated.

Thanks.

Haven Wild Duck is the best haven site I’ve been to

Thanks. I’ll take a look at that one.

I also came to suggest Wild Duck 🥰

Just to throw another suggestion out there we also used to stay on some lovely houseboats in wroxham when I was a kid. Totally different experience. www.hoseasons.co.uk/boat-holidays/bridge-broad-houseboats-broa you usually get a little boat moored by your houseboat so you can explore the broads in the way you are meant to!

Wroxham is a great day out, I used to love Wroxham barns for a bit of shopping and there's lambs at the junior park and a little fun park for the kids, also Cromer, and the sea life place at Great Yarmouth.

Kellingheath is lovely. Lots if things to do on site and off site, lovely places to visit nearby.

Bewilderwood is a good day out

I’ve camped at kellingheath and it’s very nice. Not sure how it compares to a Haven. Think more nature walks than entertainment

Wild Duck looks lovely, will put on short list. Kellingheath is sold out already for our dates but does look lovely too, maybe one for the future.

Hadn’t thought of staying on a houseboat, will keep that one in mind.

Try looking at private owners of vans / lodges on Kelling who advertise on the net /fb / cottage. Letting agents locally elsewhere . Sometimes you get late availability on the chintzier older models of caravanswhich look gloomy & a bit old fashioned on the internet but are anything but . You might strike lucky. It’s popular for good reason and it’s gets repeat custom . We’ve gone for years It has a Center parcs vibe rather than a butlins one . Clippesby Hall has accommodation but is not so much a holiday park and similar holidays we’ve done Center parcs in Holland . Heard good things about wild duck
