We have got two child free nights away in Cornwall next month. My DH and I love eating out. Would love to hear which restaurants you’ve loved and would recommend.

The Canteen at Maker Heights (above Cawsand).

I second the Fish House Fistral.
and add The Dining Room in Rock.

My favourite is the Porthminster Beach Cafe (St Ives). Gorgeous place, gorgeous food. It's always my birthday treat pick :).

Also highly recommend 2 Fore St in Mousehole.

And Indidog in Falmouth is good, as is the Star and Garter (menu changes regularly, on its day, it's excellent!).

Before we moved to Cornwall we used to stop for lunch at Rick Stein's cafe in Padstow on the way down. It was always lovely. I haven't been to any of the others, but I'd definitely be keen based on the cafe.

Let us know what you decide - what a lovely project to have !

Pothminister Beach Cafe. Also Portgwidden Beach Cafe.

Rick Stein Cafe

In Looe The Old Sail Loft and The Fish Market are amazing.

In Polperro Couches is fine dining and fabulous. I also love Nelsons ( very old school but impeccable). The Kitchen is also seriously good.

Paul Ainsworth at No6 is awesome. Much prefer it to Nathan Outlaw New Road.
Second Prawn On The Lawn in Padstow.
