Center parcs with 12 month old DS

Any tips to get the most out of it with 12 month old?

We’re going for 4 days with family including older kids. We’ve booked a couple of activities for DS, but otherwise just planning on spending time in the pool (presuming there’s a baby pool area?), outdoor playgrounds and walks.

No advice but I’m in the same position. Which are you going to? I’ve heard the baby pool at Sherwood is really nice Smile.

We’re going to Whinfell Forest :)

Take bird food for him to throw to the birds outside where you’re staying.

Get the family to mind the baby and book yourself into the spa!

Swimming needs to be pre-booked so just think round the baby's schedule when you find best as they will sleep straight after!

The lodges are very child friendly, with baby stair gates supplied (if you are on two floors), as well as a high chair with tray, cot etc…The only thing I would say is that the curtains are very thin, so if your LO needs a dark room to sleep, you may want to take a black out blind and a small night light otherwise at nap time it may take them a while to drift off!
Take your own plastic bowls and cups.
There’s a mini beach at the lake. It’s tiny, but there’s just enough space on the sand for little ones to play with a bucket and spade. You can buy them there, but at a price so I’d take your own.
The pools do have swim vests available but they are often too big for small toddlers.
Most of the restaurants have baby feeding areas – a microwave, bottle warmer and baby food pots. It’s free!
Take a bike lock for the pushchair.

Thanks for the advice. Just to update, we went last week and DS had a fabulous time :) He loved the pool and as PP said, conked out within minutes afterwards Grin There aren’t many activities for babies under 18 months, but he did a balance bike session which he really enjoyed. I’d like to go back in warmer weather when we can spend a bit more time in the playgrounds etc outdoors.
