Day out to suit all ages?

I'm looking for suggestions for a family outing, for a family gathering of seven adults and five kids - youngest age 7, oldest age 80. I want it to be somewhere that everyone can enjoy, rather than adults humouring the kids (so no theme parks) or kids tolerating the adults (so not just sitting around a pub). It could be around the north or midlands.
Any suggestions?

Our go to is crazy golf. Some places have 2 18 hole courses and cafe so we do one round have lunch or tea and cakes depending on time of day and then second round. It can get competitive!

Harewood House, between Leeds and Harrogate. Beautiful stately home, massive bird garden to visit, (with a penguin pool) and huge adventure playground for the kids. Cafe there too.

Cannon hall farm or Yorkshire wildlife park? Animals, picnics, nice walks, also sheep racing, tractor rides at cannon hall and adventure playgrounds if the older adults want a breather. Also lovely farm shop and cafe at cannon hall.

Or hire a canal/narrowboat/barge for a day, can do this in lots of fabulous locations and have picnic or snacks on board and/or stop off for pub meal.

We have done the Narrow boat thing for an 80th but no small kids, it was great but the weather was very good, you do have to plan well as on our trip you just didn't have time to stop for a meal, but that was just our choice of canal
