Legoland Windsor - planning the day

We're going to legoland this weekend. Has anyone been recently? Which rides are the most popular so we can try to do them before it gets really busy ?

I remember waiting in a queue for 2 hours when we went a few years ago and that was no fun!

Thanks

Is there an app? I’ve not been to Legoland but Paultons Park/Peppa Pig world experience was vastly improved by keeping an eye on queue lengths and dashing over when quiet.

We have been this summer. I wouldn’t go without Q-Bots I’m afraid. We were staying in resort so went in through the back, this was definitely the busiest area so I would head there first. Unfortunately, even the most expensive Q-Bot couldn’t be used on most of the rides in this area Confused so we still had to wait.

Most things still 60mins plus now still!

Thanks all - we managed to get a few main rides and enjoyed the smaller ones/shows.

Things that might be useful to others are:

  • we arrived at 930 and were allowed to access the site, so made our way down towards Sky Lion. We waited 45 minutes to get on, about half the wait time that was showing at 1015.
  • there were fairly small queues for smaller rides nearby, eg fire/ice ride, when we came out
  • we had lunch while we watched the pirate show on the big lake to save some time
  • some of the ride wait times were out. When we joined the queue for the haunted house it said 20 minutes but it was double that (& not very impressive IMO)
  • we did some playgrounds & Lego building activities in early afternoon when most of the rides had over an hour queue
  • around 530 they announced only a 30 minute wait for the ninjago ride, in fact it was less than 20 minutes - much better than earlier in the day!
  • the Lego shop was packed at the end of the day. Probably better to look & pre-order earlier in the day
