Longleat lunch / snack cost?

£120 for tickets to longleat entrance fee.

Never been before, I can see they have sandwich/ coffee bars along the way but i was wondering if anyone has been recently and could give me a rough idea of cost for 2 adults 3 kids.

Will take our own lunch if it is too expensive. Did you find you had enough time to see everything with lunch inbetween? Our drive through alot is anytime between 12.30-2.30. And i think you can't go back after youve driven through?

Done fuck all this summer holiday so far so would like it to be a good day but still want to keep to a budget.

Any advice about the place welcome please. Kids 11, 3 and 1.

You can definitely go into the main park after safari. We always do safari first but our kids are older.

We usually go to Longleat every year using our Tesco Clubcard vouchers. We always take a picnic and eat it on the lawn outside the house when we’ve finished the drive through and before we do the other bits.

We love Longleat - so much to see and do. Personally, I like the little zoo that you walk around (think it’s called the Jungle Kingdom) as much as the drive through - some quite rare, interesting animals there.

Thanks for all the responses!

We are 100% taking a picnic and a packet of fruit shoots and will take cash for the ice cream / donut van!

I shall leave lunch in the car and pray its not raining for my wipers Blush

I'm really excited to go Grin

Unsurprisingly they were using the covid reasoning

Its a great place you will have a lovely time. I really like the jungle cruise where kids can feed fish though mine are older. We normally go in the Festival of Light in the winter when its all lit up.

Thats one of the most ridiculous covid policies I've ever heard. Surely if they really wanted to stop the spread they should do the opposite- only bring your own food. Food outlets involve queues, staff members, multiple people touching the same utensils etc. Whereas a picnic basket prepared by and eaten by people from the same household is literally zero risk. I would have taken my own picnic and argued with them 😂

We've been to Longleat today, we were really impressed with the pizza place, proper fresh pizza, about £10 each and quite big, 2 adults can share 1, they do a kids meal deal for £9 a small pizza, drink and ice cream, or 2 kids could just share a normal pizza.

We went a few weeks ago, we got there at 12.30 but wish we had gotten there when they opened. It was a lovely day and very busy!
We took an old banger but the monkeys didn’t touch it. We stayed until closing time, could’ve stayed much longer! We wouldn’t have had time to go through the safari twice, it was too busy. We fed the deer (who can also wreck your car) and went on the boat to watch the sea lions. The queues were long, they move fairly quickly though.
Take a swimming costume /spare shorts & T shirt for the children, there’s a small water park, amazing castle/play area/picnic area.
The gift shops are quite pricey.
There is a toilet along the path where you queue for the boat trip, which is quieter than at the entrance area.
There’s a nice pub and camping area about five/ten mins away from Longleat if you are staying in the area.

Def take your own food. We usually stop at M&S or Sainsbury's and get a meal deal plus treats. Then icecream & coffee there.

Well usually eat some of the picnic whilst we are in the safari and this saves times.
