Camarthenshire/Pembrokeshire border: where should we visit?

Have some accommodation booked v close to Camerthenshire/Pembrokeshire border, not far from coast. All adults. Any recommendations where to go? In particular, interested in recommendations for scenic walks/nice beaches. Don't want anything massively strenuous walking-wise, as group includes my parents who are in their eighties. (They enjoy country walks, but a level walk rather than one involving lots of uphill or downhill would be good.) Adult DS plans to take his bike, so any bike ride recommendations also appreciated. (Casual cyclist with basic bike, not cycling fanatic.) TIA

The National Botanical Gardens of Wales is not far from Carmarthen.

Llansteffan castle and beach. Can walk up to the castle/along the beach or there is a paved path.
Carew Castle.
Laugharne is lovely, flat walk around the castle.
Abergwili Railway if you like steam trains.
Solva is absolutely beautiful - that’s Pembrokeshire.
St Davids - Also Pembrokeshire

Just bumping this thread for any further ideas? Hope that's ok OP? We are staying in a similar area. Have had Saunderfoot beach recommended and a Sea Safari.

If you have kids, them Folly Farm and Heatherton. Freshwater East is a more natural beach than Saundersfoot. Carmarthen has a cinema if it's raining and some good shops. National Trust you have Stackpole and Colby Gardens. St David's for a day out. Manorbier castle and beach. Pembroke castle is good .

Great tips. Thank you

Ceredigion is next to Pembrokeshire and has many lovely beaches and attractions, it's just not been promoted as much as Pembs.

For cycling look at Aborgorlech and Brechfa Forest. Great food at Wrights Food Emporium near Carmarthen, and Ultracomdia in Narbeth, which is also a lovely small town for a mooch.

Bosherston Lily Ponds.

Just back from Pembrokeshire. My favourite beaches were Barafundle and Freshwater East. Saundersfoot beach isn't anything special, but there is a lovely (hilly) coastal walk from Saundersfoot to Tenby, which is a lovely town with nice beaches. We did the seal safari there.
