Things to do in Dorset

Hi, we've booked a week in Lyme Regis this coming August. Looking for recommendations for things to do that we may have to book in advance. Also any restaurants that are worth a visit. Don't want to turn up and miss out due to a lack of forward planning! It looks like Covid is going to continue to take the spontaneity out of life for a while to come.
Thank you

Thanks everyone! I'm really looking forward to it! Although having had one DC after another isolating for the last few weeks I hardly dare hope!

The South West path in both directions is lovely.

You can go one way to Charmouth & Golden Cap for amazing views.

Or the other way through Undercliffe towards Axmouth - 7 miles if you go whole way (wonderful natural habitat).

Or there is a nice town trail up past the Town Mill, following a - Town Mill is good for a visit. This is the easiest walk to do with children.
