Family friendly places to eat in Cornwall

We're going to Cornwall in half-term staying near Bodmin & have lots of activities booked for the days but looking for recommendations for family friendly (DC are 6 & 2) places to eat - pubs, restaurants, cafes etc in Cornwall.

Not silent P Stein's places. One wouldn't allow us in with a sleeping child in a pushchair as it would take up too much room and his posh restaurant wouldn't let us book because our 2 year old may ruin the experience for other diners.

Yes I wasn't planning on visiting Padstein - remember it being very prohibitive when we went pre-children as well as ££££!

Pucelli's on the quayside in Padstow is great for all ages and the view is unbeatable. They have a children's menu. It's always busy but we've always been lucky around 4pm.

Would suggest the park and ride but wasn't open last year.

We like the sardine factory in looe. Lovely food and family friendly.

The Britannia Inn near St Austell
Fort Inn or The Great Western, both in Newquay
The Countryman Inn, Launceston
The Whitehouse Inn, Penhallow
The Inn on the Shore, Looe

Wadebridge is nice for a potter about although not much for children. Lots of nice cafes with outdoor seating, our favourite is Carraway's.

These are great - adding to my list.
Any more?

Good grief, that posted before spellcheck 😬
In “normal” times you’ll need to book ahead.

Any of the Hubbox branches (Truro, St Ives, Falmouth)
Craftworks in Wadebridge
The food at the Eden Project is nice if you go there.
There are lots of nice pubs, but I don't know the Bodmin area very well. Lots of good fish and chips too (again, my area of knowledge is all further west of where you're going to be).
If you do make it to the far west (St Ives, St Just...), Moomaid of Zennor ice cream is amazing.
The Blue bar at Porthtowan has a nice kids menu and is a great place for adults too.
Weather is looking good for you too!

Pieros in Truro. Gorgeous Italian food. Like really good. And have always been really family friendly when I've been, not for a few years admittedly but have taken my 11 year old many times since she was tiny.
