Norfolk vs Dorset

UK holiday this year for obvious reasons. We've been to north Norfolk a few times (Wells or thereabouts) and really enjoyed it - lots of trips to the beach, swimming (mai my for my son), cycling (ideally off road but quiet lanes fine) and walks. Prefer being in a town so we can go out for meals without driving, and have to be on the coast. Have been looking area north of Cromer eg West Runton. Any thoughts on that neck of woods v welcome!

I've also been wondering about going to Swanage/Studland area instead but am dithering. What's that like in terms of the interests set out above?

My perfect holiday were it not have been for COVID would have been Atlantic coast in France.

We're in north London so Dorset a bit further for us but that's not a big factor. Two adults and a 14 year old.

Thanks all.

Swanage is great for off-road cycling: www.virtual-swanage.co.uk/things-to-do/sports-and-activities/cycling

Two of the holiday parks at Swanage have indoor heated pools which always used to be open to the public. Not sure if that applies now. There are Bay View and Ulwell Cottage caravan park.

Studland Sea School offers kayaking and coasteering.

Dorset is hillier so cycling may be a bit more challenging.
