Where to go for UK family holiday?

Thinking of going on UK holiday this year. We have 2 primary school age kids and a baby. Do you think it will be worth going away somewhere? Normally we should go on days out - beach, theme park, sight seeing and then meal out on the evening. I dont think much of this will be possible this year. Eg having to find somewhere to eat a day or two in advance, most attractions closed or limited numbered etc. Also not keen on spending our evenings in the hotel/house watching TV- could do that at home.

Help, what are other people doing? Where are you going? I'm not keen on caravan or camping but would consider most other things.

You could do a short break Monday to Friday. Sometimes even though it feels like you are stuck in a non work day routine a change of scenery does you good.

I am personally not a fan of camping but will go glamping or stay in a caravan.

Look up areas you are interested in and see what is open and how to access activities etc.

I would love to get away for a few days but not going to be possible.
But if I could I would not go too far, opt for self catering, see what we could do in that area. A self catering unit means you are isolated as a family unit for accommodation and cooking and bathroom facilities.

A beach is great for kids or a wood for den building.

You dont have to go for day trips to places that will be touristy and busy.

Hope you have a great time if you decide to go.

The beaches are open, most restaurants and pubs have reopened and attractions are now open - you may need to make bookings but shouldn't be too difficult

Not much available in summer holidays in Norfolk I discovered last weekend trying to book. You might have to see what you can find within budget.
