Hi all,

With all the doom and gloom, I thought I'd inspire myself and start looking at where to take my little man on holiday when this is all over.

I'm a single mama of a cool 1 year old :)

Where would be best do you think?

So far I'm thinking Lego land or centre parks - also heard there is monkey sanctuary down south somewhere, which may be cool to rent nearby.

All options considered, thoughts please :)

Centre Parks will be fab for the 2 of you, no need to travel for things to go. Look at Bluestone in Wales too, you could explore the beaches nearby :)

Ribby Hall is fab too. We took our 1 year old last year and have booked again for next year

Isle of Wight is heaven for a pre-school child.

We took our girl to Weymouth when she was 2. Fantastic beach (sandy and perfect for sandcastles), the sea is calm and you can paddle. There is a sealife centre. We stayed at one of the Haven parks which was lovely.

Haven holidays are really nice at that age. Very relaxed and family friendly, we always felt safe there and there's usually lots of green space for exploring. We went to Devon Cliffs (but this is years ago so it may have changed) and Green acres on Portmadog which is right on the most amazing beach.

I was also going to suggest bluestone :) we took our daughter just after she turned 2 but there's plenty for a mobile 1 year old, and areas separated from those for bigger kids.

Center Parcs for sure, it'll be so easy as its all geared towards children. Its car free and the sites are small enough to walk/bike around. There are soft play areas in some restaurants and parks. Also, there are great areas in the swimming pool for young kids plus a creche if you'd like some time out (I'd recommend using this time to go to the spa for a few hours).

Thanks guys! Lots to look into :)

Centre parks and a crèche so I can go to the spa is winning 😂
