Stops near the M6 for dogs

I was wondering if anyone knew any good places I can stop with a dog near the M6 on my way to Scotland?
Looking for places we can take him for decent off lead walks but also if anyone knows cheap places for the night that takes dogs that would be useful too.
We do the trip a lot and find it increasingly hard since we got the dog!
Interested in anywhere north of Birmingham and south of Carlisle.
Any ideas? And I can replay the knowledge with a great stop on the way to Cornwall if that helps anyone?!

Cannock Chase is great for walking dogs, the nearest junctions would be 12 and 13 and it’s only about a 10 minute drive from each.

Oh that looks brilliant, thanks so much.

The Tebay services are fantastic. They have a great reputation for home-made food and friendly staff and their farm shops. They have a sign posted dog walk and free dog water bowls available . www.tebayservices.com/need-to-know/for-families
The Tebay Services Hotel has dog rooms. www.tebayserviceshotel.com/sleep/dog-friendly-room/
Tatton Park is a good place for a walk www.tattonpark.org.uk/visit/dog_walking.aspx It’s 3 miles from junction 19.
Killington Lake services, near Kendal, Cumbria has a lovely setting overlooking the reservoir and there’s a waterside walk.
Trentham Estate is also good for dog walking www.trentham.co.uk/plan-your-visit/walking-your-dog/ There’s a dog washing station and a couple of the cafes allow dogs inside and provide dog bowls. It’s only a couple of miles from junction 15.

Delamere Forest in Cheshire.
Free parking along the road.
There is a campsite, lodges and cafes there too.
