Dean park resorts or similar?

we usually go on nice holiday but we now have 3 young dc so funds need to stretch further and I'd like to get away more often. I've never been to a caravan park/resort. my husband hates the idea (he's
being a snob) but I'd like to give it a go. seems like adequate accommodation and lots to do on your caravan door step. or is it really awful and cheap for a reason?

probably out of your area but for anyone looking for caravan holiday near the south coast - you cannot go wrong with Hoburne sites - there are 3 near the new forest dorset/ hampshire plus cotswolds, somerset & cornwall - not massive sites but well kept with modern caravans and some have lodges - we,ve been going to them for 10 years
