Isle of Wight cottages - for 10 people

Hi All

We are planning a large family holiday this year. Eldest member is 86 whilst the youngest is 3 months. We have already discounted caravans and hotels as they won't meet everyone's needs. I am on the hunt for a series of cottages or self catering apartments or one large place with plenty of space to accommodate everyone. It's important that there is enough room or doors so when the toddlers get up at 6am, they don't wake everyone else.

Any suggestions? We want to go in April. It's an added bonus if we can get access to an indoor pool nearby and I am prepared to consider almost anything.

I've just checked and the 10 person property at Nettlecombe Farm seems to be available for at least a week at the beginning of April, maybe later. It's a great place to take kids. www.nettlecombefarm.co.uk

we stayed here island-holiday-homes.net/Property/PropertyDetails.aspx?id=61131 back in 2012. It was fabulous. The youngest was 2 at the time so I just brought him downstairs and tried to keep him quiet whilst everyone slept.

This is a little series of several cottages which are adjacent - you could span out over several cottages? It’s in the NW corner of the IoW. We stayed in Woodland cottage as an inter generational family of 7 and it was fantastic. Really well appointed, clean and tastefully decorated cottage (and I assume the others are too). Right by the sea. Lovely walks. Near the Needles. Frankly, not far from anything given IoW is small!

Thank you @wigeon and @BlueChampagne. Sadly, neither had vacancies for our dates, but I will keep them in mind for the future.

There’s a group of cottages at farringford (I think that’s the name - tennyson’s home), all surrounding a grassy area.
