Hi all, looking for advice/recommendations....
Husband and I have chance of 2 nights away next week but have no idea where we should go or what we should do! I'll be 35 weeks pregnant so don't fancy loads and loads of walking or shopping (bought everything for the baby and clothes shopping is out!!)
Location is midlands but more looking for recommendations of activities/stuff to do which is interesting and fun but not too strenuous and suitable for a very pregnant lady (and her husband!!)
Thanks in advance!!!

Woburn Safari Park - a leisurely drive around the animals and there are also sea lion shows, parrot shows etc... and keeper talks and demonstrations.
West Midlands Safari Park is also good.
Take a canal boat cruise www.canaljunction.com/canal/trips.htm

Good grief! I read your thread title and was fascinated by the word “prey”.

But OK, pregnant. Westonbirt Aboretum will be gorgeous at the moment: it depends how much walking you can manage.

Could you say roughly where you’ll be as the Midlands is an enormous region!
Depends where in the Midlands but possibly the Cotswolds would be within easy reach and you could have a drive around, stop for a pub lunch or afternoon tea.
Otherwise Severn Valley Railway if you’re anywhere near Kidderminster or Bridgnorth.

Fab, thanks everyone. Plans at the moment are afternoon tea, the cinema and a trip to Stratford Upon Avon Smile
