UK Alternative to Center Parcs

We've got a bit of a tradition going where our family group do a child friendly holiday each year. We don't all live near each other so this is our annual catch up. There's the DPs, Sister, BIL and their 3 DS, me and my 2 DS. So ten in total. We've done Center Parcs to death both UK and Europe but it's ticked all the boxes in terms of accommodation, plenty for the DC to do and peaceful surroundings.
The DC are all getting older so we feel that a walk in the woods and a playground won't cut it anymore and the DPs are getting old and need to be able to retreat from time to time which is tough when we're wedged into two lodges/similar.
We've looked at Potter's in Norfolk which looks fab but is £££££s and more expensive than CP peak season- it's AI but the difference doesn't really justify the spend.
Love the idea of all-inclusive as no one thinks cooking is a holiday but we've done so on all the other hols.
So does anyone have any suggestions of a CP alternative that has plenty to keep the DC busy (age range 2 - 8)? I think East of England or North would be most practical for the three components of the family to travel to but South a possibility.
The dream would be AI or half board but searches don't throw up much!

If I were you I’d go to Darwin Forest. Similar to CP and loads to do in the area.

My son is younger than your kids but I think some of the other suggestions I got on my thread might be of interest to you

Bit of a disclaimer as I haven't stayed here in ages but the Langdale in the lakes has good leisure facilities, lodges as well as rooms and lots of adventure type stuff nearby. Might be worth a look at their website. ww.langdale.co.uk/phone/index.html. Also, near where we live in the North East there is a hotel called Slaley Hall which is basically a golf hotel but has luxury lodges in the grounds..it is very popular

It's not AI but there are reasonably priced restaurants on site, so if you want to venture somewhere different check out Bluestone. Loads and loads of activities for kids of all ages and things for adults too (there's even an on-site spa, with a rooftop whirlpool)
You can't guarantee the weather and Wales is notorious for rain, but that applies to all these uk type holidays I guess!

If you can travel up to Scotland Crieff Hydro might be worth a look.

Have you tried Forest Holidays? It's SC but you can order food to your cabin.

We had a great time. Wood burning stove, hot tub, gas BBQ on the deck and really good customer service.

Ribby Hall is amazing. They've thought of it all. And more! But it comes with a price tag.
Darwin Forest is also superb but has a smaller price tag, and Sherwood Castle isn't bad either. Take a look at Landal Sandybrook too.
It's in completely the wrong direction for you, but Whitemead Forest Park offers a lot for a reasonable price.

We been to potters twice now and it has become our annual whole family break.
It's fantastic for all ages and caters well for big groups. This year there are 14 of us going from age 2 months to 79.
The price seems expensive but once you are there everything apart from drinks is included .

The activity list is endless,a huge timetable for all ages and all included in the price.
Breakfast, lunch, evening meal and midnight buffet are included as well. The food is all lovely.
As you can see I highly recommended it you won't be disappointed
