Llandudno hotels/b&bs and things to do

Can anyone recommend a Llandudno hotel or b&b? A family member has just moved there so will be visiting a few times per year. It is do-able in a day but would be tiring. If I’m totally honest I prefer fairly anonymous hotels to the sort of small b&bs where it is someone’s home and they just happen to let a couple of rooms out, but am open to suggestions.
Also recommendations of things to do with two teenage dds.
Thank you.

The Landsdowne has a couple of good sized family rooms with a king and two twin beds.
It's quite fun to do the Alice in Wonderland Trail which starts at the library, even with teenagers. You can get trail maps from the tourist information office which is next door to the library.

The Elm Tree Hotel, it’s fab. Spotlessly clean, caring owners and staff, great breakfasts. It is very popular, so you will need to book well in advance.
SNOOZE is a great restaurant/wine bar not far away from hotel, highly recommended.
Trip up Great Orme by tram or cable car is a must.
Lots going on at the concert hall/theatre. Decent shopping.
Beautiful, grand (Only slightly faded) seaside town, lovely sweep of bay. Loads to do slightly further afield too.

Thank you, those hotels both look nice.

If they're still there the greenery and the chip shop opposite are lovely. Conwy is lovely. Really nice shops, Castle and the smallest house.

The pier is brilliant and there used to be a rare breeds farm down by Craigydon.
I loved my holidays at Llandudno v when I was little

We stayed in Escape on Church Walks which was fab and perfectly situated. Run by a couple of lovely chaps, with an honesty bar and lovely modern rooms and en-suites.

You must go up the Orme and have a go on the toboggans. Brilliant fun, there is also a dry ski slope with skis or rubber rings to go down in. The town is typical Victorian town centre with most things you will need. Worth a trip to Conwy and the marina. The hotel next door does lovely cream teas. Have a lovely time . . .

Yes, Llandudno is nice enough but Conwy much nicer. In Llandudno the Looking Glass Ice Cream Parlour is fab and definitely have a trip up the Orme.

If you can go a bit further afield a trip up Snowdonia on the train is fun, but best to book in advance!

Also Portmeirion is lovely Smile

We did both from Llandudno but appreciate they may be a bit further than you'd want to travel!

Thank you, we will be going once a month or so as dd, 16, has just moved there, so the plan is to stay in Llandudno and different places nearby.
We ended up going over for the day last week but first overnight stay is Rhyl next weekend as a lot of hotels were fully booked due to it being half term. Another time I’d like to try somewhere inland closer to Snowdon or Conwy.
The kids really want to do the zip wire thing but don’t fancy another 40 odd miles of driving each way so that will have to wait.
They are keen riders so have found a pony trekking place near Rhyl which looks good.
