Campsite / holiday park recommendations in New Forest / Sussex

Planning our holiday in July with DD who will be just 2. We are in West Dorset for a time then eventually need to get to Suffolk. So we're looking for somewhere to spend 3-4 days in between - can be more than one location.

We're thinking West Sussex but can be flexible to the East or West if there's somewhere good. We want a holiday park or campsite, not for a tent but a static caravan, lodge or cabin. We're not really after a Butlins affair and want something a bit more low key but ideally not too remote so we can visit some local attractions. I have a dream of a cabin with a hot tub but some I have found are eye wateringly expensive (think £2k for 3 nights).

Does anyone have any recommendations? Near the coast would be nice but we will be near the beach in Dorset so not a problem if it's inland.

TIA

Crowhurst Park ticks most of your boxes. It has an indoor heated pool with children's pool, adventure playground, yet it isn't too big or noisy. Wooden lodges which are reasonably priced. It's in East Sussex near Battle and the brilliant Drusilla's Zoo Park which is way more than just another zoo and well worth taking a 2yo to.

Apparently we're a bit late to book a holiday park in the U.K. in July - everywhere is either fully booked or more expensive than Claridges!

Try a Hoburne site. 3 near new forest. much more low key than butljns as lots of private owners. also look on directholidayhomes.co.uk for privately owned caravans

Thanks for the suggestion. We went with an Airbnb in the end as it was less than half he price
