Just what it says on the packet really
Want to go off with my husband next weekend for his birthday and we both love eating and food
Doesn't need to be really posh just amazing food that's close by or in the hotel really

I'd stay at the Crown and Castle in Orford, Suffolk. crownandcastle.co.uk The Good Hotel Guide awarded it the Editor’s Choice for Restaurant with Rooms in 2018 and last year Sawday’s honoured it for Fabulous Food. It's situated within a stone’s throw of the C12th castle, in the heart of the beautiful, tranquil village of Orford on the river Ore, with the National Trust’s Orford Ness just across the river. Aldeburgh is just a few miles to the north and it is only a 15-minute drive to Snape Maltings, home of Aldeburgh Music.
Orford also as a famous shop which is a delight for foodies. www.pinneysoforford.co.uk/the-shop/ People come from far and wide to visit it.
Nearby is another award winning gastro pub theunrulypig.co.uk

There's also an amazing bakery in Orford www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g1501064-d2020149-Reviews-Pump_Street_Bakery-Orford_Suffolk_East_Anglia_England.html and their doughnuts were mentioned in an Oscar acceptance speech by Mat Kirkby! www.telegraph.co.uk/foodanddrink/9698360/Word-of-mouth-Pump-Street-Bakery-Suffolk.html
They make their own chocolate too, which they then melt for thick, extravagant hot chocolates!
