Day trip from Tenby

DH, DD and I are off to Tenby for a week in April. PIL (who are lovely) are coming too. While we'll be spending most of the week together as a group, PILs are also very keen to babysit for us so, so we will get a couple of days to be footloose and fancy free.

So - what should we do? I'd love to get suggestions of places we can visit and things we can see, especially if they would be hard/impossible with a toddler in tow!

The only think I'm ruling out is a trip to Caldey Island - it's lovely, but we went last time we visited.

Looking forward to your ideas!

St Davids, lovely pub food in The Bishops, the last time we went there were two boys who'd opened an ice cream shop, lovely homemade.

Pentre Ifan, nice drive from Tenby. Could link it in with trip to Haverfordwest then onto St Davids if you wanted a full day.

Cardigan is nice to potter around and a lovely drive with views. I love Narberth very much bit its not a full day out more of a morning or afternoon.

Walk the coastal path, pick a route you'd never attempt with a toddler (Tenby to Manorbier) then get the bus back.

Might get more ideas from the Visit Pembrokeshire website.

Walking? You've got the whole coast path. Or a castle such as Manorbier?

Coast restaurant Saundersfoot, wonderful. Walk around Bosherton Lily Ponds, across the beach and back to the village. Stackpole Quay and Barafundle Bay, the perfect beach. Surfing at Newgale. Melyn Tregwynt, Porthgain and the Blue Lagoon followed by St David’s.
Actually any bit of the coastal path really.
