Travel Inn or Travel Lodge

We need to book a cheap hotel in glasgow/paisley area for a weekend break in May. We need a family room for 2 adults, our 3.5yo son and our 12month old daughter.

Does anyone have any experience of any hotels in the area with family rooms and does anyone have an opinion on whether travelinn or travellodge are best in terms of space and comfort in family rooms?

Thanks

Haven't stayed in the Travelodge in Glasgow (we stayed at The Moat House by the Science Museum when there last, which was fine) but have stayed in plenty of Travelodges in other places. They are all very much of a muchness; once you've put the bed-settee thing up for the children, it's pretty cramped but you are getting what you pay for - last time we stayed in one it was only £26 for all 4 of us!

Travelodge everytime!! Mega places although you do get what you pay for but they are clean and you get coffee and tea and a TV and we love them.

Book now and you might get v cheap!

a work colleague is currently staying in a travel inn - 55.00 a night (52 at weekends) - and its really nice. Nothing OTT but a huge bed, settee, wardrobes and nice bathroom.

Lots of 15 pounds a night rooms available at the moment.

Stayed at a Travel Inn last weekend. £49 for a family room which easily held 4 beds (kids on sofabed and pull-out), nice bathroom, comfortable and clean, tea/coffee and kettle ( but no hairdryer!). Breakfast was available at adjacent restaurant @ £7.50 per adult all in , kids free, although we had to leave too early to eat there, 8am seemed quite late to open up. Have also stayed in one at Gatwick North Terminal when dd was still in travelcot and that seemed more cramped in comparison.

thanks everyone who has replied, appreciate it.
If I could get one for £15 I wouldn't give it a second thought, but they're not available. .
I think I might be able to get one for £26, tho, will try this weekend and see.
