Last Minute Norfolk Holidays Tips!

Well after every Mumsnetter seemed to recommend North Norfolk to me earlier in the year we are going on our hols there tomorrow for the week. (Staying just outside Wells Next to the Sea) Going with hubby and a nearly 4 year old boy.

Weather isn't looking great, so may not be on the beach as much as I'd hoped.

Can anyone help with last minute advice - Which is the best National Trust in the area (Blicking Estate, Felbrigg, Sheringham Park), would be great to explore with my son on his scooter?

Also deliberating between Bewilderwood and Dinosaur Park with an adventurous nearly 4 yo. I'm leaning towards Bewilderwood as he likes outdoor woodland play structures....?

Thanks! :-)

Not the main road but one behind the visitors centre.

Thanks for clarifying, keep Sheringham on the list!

Just pack enough wet weather gear, and get out and enjoy yourselves... Its a great part of the country!
Have fun...

Another recommendation for Pensthorpe - lovely nature reserve with walks that had enough things to spot to entertain a 4 year old and good outdoor and (if wet!) indoor play areas. We also enjoyed Dinosaur Adventure.

There's a little wildlife park in Cromer which is charming. I forget the name, think it specialised in South American animals though. It was big enough to easily fill an afternoon, but small enough for little legs to walk around with no problems.

Amazona zoo is the wildlife place in Cromer. They have a decent indoor exhibit, actually. Buy tickets online too save a few quid!
