Alton Towers with a 3 and almost-1 year old

Hi! We're thinking of taking a short break to Alton Towers with our two kids. I think my 3yo will love CBeebies land. I've a few questions for anyone who's already been:

Is there anything suitable for a 9mo?

We need a room with 2 double beds. And preferably a separate sitting room for the evening. Any hotel recommendations?

Would 2 days do it or would 3 be better?

Any tips or hints?

Personally they sound too young and I think you will be disappointed.

Gullivers Kingdom /World much better for tinies.

To be honest if you DO go you certainly won't need anymore than a day with such young children.

Alton Towers comes in to its own when they are much , much older .

I agree, they are too young for it. CBeebies land is only a tiny area of the park, easily doable in half a day. We went with ds1 age 5 and ds2 age 3 as we were meeting family (older cousins) for a day out. If we hadn't met them my kids would have been bored.
Legoland is excellent if you can find a quiet day.

Too young. Go to Drayton Manor for the day, in Tamworth and has Thomas land.

I've not been to Alton towers since I was about 15 (30+ years ago) but from what I've heard is more suitable for older kids. Why not go to Lego land? Perfect for younger ones and very baby friendly too.

Or Paultons Park for Peppa Pig

Yep, Gulliver's Kingdom at Matlock is more suited for younger children and is much more reasonably priced. My son actually cried once when we arrived at Alton Towers for his first visit when he was 7, he wanted to go to Gulliver's.

Yes Yes to Peppa Pig land and Drayton Manor too.

Dont know where you are based but Blackpool Zoo is amazing (I was shocked at how much fun it was!) And is much more age appropriate.

Id save Alton Towers for when they are both big enough for rides.

Yes Madison my DS is 7 - and with his height he is still not big enough/ old enough for many of the rides.

People have gone out of their way to be helpful OP ... It would be polite to respond ......

I would say they are too young. Cbeebies land is tiny and you and DH would be paying nearly £40 each for the pleasure of accompanying them on a couple of little rides which are nothing special. I would wait until they are bigger or go to a theme park with more little rides. Nickelodeon Land at Blackpool Pleasure beach is better but you would have to check height restrictions.
