Things to do in a rainy North Wales near Talacre beach for a week?

We are going to Talacre beach on Saturday for a week long caravan holiday. Myself, DH and ds, 7 and DD, 4, and we are really looking forward to it.

We had hoped to get a couple of days just playing on the beach but the weather for the next week or so is now looking pretty rubbish so rather than being stuck in the caravan playing monopoly for the 18th time we would like to be out and about instead.

We already know we are definitely going to go to Conwy castle and DS wants to go to the zoo on his birthday, he turns 8 while we are there.

Any suggestions of any other places to visit? And any recommendations for nice family friendly places to eat would be great too Smile

Greenfield heritage valley & Loggerheads are nice to visit and Greenfield.usually has activities on during the summer holiday.

Greenfield heritage park looks lovely, and only 15 minutes from where we are staying. If we get a dryish day we'll definitely head there, thanks
