Centerparcs - is it really busy at half term?

I mean I know it is likely to be booked up, but I have never been before so I wondered how well it will absorb the people - for example, is the pool very crowded, the restaurants etc?

Have been at easter and that was fine. Its a big place so doesn't get over crowded. If you wanted to book any extra activities eg Yoga, aquafit, archery these need to be booked as soon as you get the booking form -about 2 weeks before you go. We have lost out in the past for not being prompt.
Do you intend to go October 1/2 term? book asap.

Am interested in this. My mother wants to have ds2 and ds3 for us next spring so we can take ds1 somewhere.

What's the shortest time you can stay there.

And I know it was mentioned on the other thread, but what's the front door/window locking arrangements. Can the front door be locked from the inside with a removeable key? (I know centerparks has different types of accomodation so may vary).

Thanks for the info. Apart from Winfell whatever it's called, they are all booked up in the October 1/2 term mid week but there is still vacancies for the weekend. We are only down the road from Elveden so I was thinking about giving it a go.

Jimjams I think the shortest you can go is the weekend - Fri to Monday. They mention wheelchair accessible accommodation on their website but nothing much else about special needs. I saw that you can get babysitting etc and wondered about whether they would cope with Ds2 who isn't too difficult in the right environment but I want somebody who would treat him nicely and not talk to him like he's off another planet or gasp because he's still in nappies etc. I might contact them.
