Anyone stayed in Bath with a baby?

Hi there
I'm looking for accommodation in Bath as we're having a family get together there at Easter. I'm thinking along the lines of a B&B or inn which has a restaurant. That way, we can all meet and have dinner in the restaurant whilst baby sleeps in our room and we'll have the baby monitor with us. So of course it needs to be a smallish place so that the baby monitor will work!
Thanks for any suggestions,
x

The problem with small places is they tend not to have restaurants. Not personally keen on leaving baby in room, there are lots of family friendly restaurants in bath, you could take baby. Or Woolley grange in Bradford on Avon has babysitting as do other hotels around bath

How old is baby? If they are young enough they will often just sleep in pram in a quiet corner near you.. Not very exciting but the travelodges are usually quite good and easy Smile

Woolley grange bradford on Avon , very family Friday . A few miles out of bath and train link if not driving.

I found a lovely 1 bed apt right in centre (owners direct I think). My friend stayed in a similar Saco apartment.

It's great because you can sit in living room whilst baby sleeps. One night we went out to eat then joined a comedy walking tour of the city with ds in his pram. The next night we got nice food from m&s (just next door). Last night we got wagamamas take out.

It's not that hard to take a sleeping child to a restaurant. We just didn't feel like doing it every night because we'd had lunch out too.

Also recommend Woolley Grange. It's specifically geared towards families and is really nice. They even gave me a key to one of the rooms once when I went for a meal and wanted somewhere quiet to bf. Does nice food too. Also B o A is lovely.
