Falmouth - other than the Maritime Museum what else is there to do?

The Museum would cost us over £30 which is a little bit too much so was wondering if there is enough to do for just pottering around, is the town big enough

In good/ok weather, definitely. Lots of little shops and cafes, boats to look at/go on (trips to St Mawes or just across the harbour to Flushing). Beaches. There is a small, but family friendly and free art gallery. There is a brilliant playground in Kimberley Park just up the hill out of town. Walk to Pendennis point for great views over the bay and ice creams.
The museum is the go-to option for most local families in wet weather, but on a nice day it wouldn't be first on my list for a day in Falmouth.

Pendennis Castle is great , usually has some kids activities on, but tbh it doesn't need to. It's good enough without.

Lovely beaches, lots of shops, cafes etc. you'll love it.

Ships and castles swimming pool has flumes.

Maritime museum tickets are valid for a whole year so you can return lots.

There is a free art museum which has kids events on.

Flambards tickets are valid for 7 days (again on the expensive side but not as bad if you make that your main entertainment)

Go and watch the aircraft at Culdrose air base.

Crabbing and fishing off the harbour is all but free.

Body boarding and sand castle building are free.

Rock pooling.

I love Falmouth.
