Who was at Longleat?

Who has been before>

What do you think about it?

we have been to Longleat before but not this half term

we enjoy it there but only if we are at the top near the pool not miles away near the bottom (or the holiday becomes more of a fitness overkill because of all the cycling up and down the hills!)

foxinsocks · 02/06/2006 18:30

did you enjoy it?

BeetrootOldDeer · 02/06/2006 18:32

we were nearer to the Jardin des sport. Yes enjoyed it, much better than I thought it would be although it was non stop action. Kids loved the independence.

Kids must love CP when they can go off on their own (mine are still too little for that).

Did you do any of the activities?

BeetrootOldDeer · 02/06/2006 18:58

kids really really loveds. did archery, high ropes, swam most of the time sometimes until 10pm.

i did water colours and swam and ran..it was great for thm

Glad you enjoyed it, beetroot. Exhausting holiday isn't it?!
Was the weather okay for you?

BeetrootOldDeer · 02/06/2006 19:02

weather got better. had a spa yesterday which was nice.

OP posts:
blueteddy · 02/06/2006 19:06

Did you find the bar?!
I didn't do a spa day or anything even slightly relaxing when we went. A spa day sounds like heaven!

BeetrootOldDeer · 02/06/2006 19:10

spa was great. ASn afternoon of relaxing. we went with two other families so we drank at hime most of the time.

iloved the rapids.

found irt weird not spending itme with my fmaily. They were all over the place.

ooh I loved the spa there - unfortunately, it was v busy last time we were there but I still enjoyed it!

the rapids are strangely exhilirating aren't they? last time we got a babysitter at night and went swimming before we ate and it was lovely (much quieter in the evening)

because the kids still need us in the pool etc., we find we spend loads of time together but I can imagine once they are old enough to go their own way, there are out of there!

foxinsocks · 02/06/2006 19:15

or even, they are out of there!

BeetrootOldDeer · 02/06/2006 19:33

i hardly saw dh or kids, he was off playing tennis, badminton etc, one of use had to be with dd so we split up alot of the itme.

blueteddy · 02/06/2006 19:53

BeetrootOldDeer · 02/06/2006 20:41
