hmmm, Yarmouth, nice, Yarmouth, nice... finding it hard to reconcile those terms .

Lol! I think exactly the same and was hoping nobody would reinforce my doubts!!

Going with family - not my choice, but would like somewhere nice(ish) to stay

If you stay a little bit out of Yarmouth there are some lovely places, Yarmouth itself? No

All of it, I love the beach.

And the snails. I'm not snobby about seaside towns though.

I've a pic of me aged six on the snails and dds the same age!

I love traditional seaside towns, with arcades and fairs and candy floss. and tacky gift shops.

I went to Whitby last year and it was all poncy shabby chic shite shops.

You see, Shopping is trciky for parking and the range of shops is limited & the market is quite sad

The out of town shopping is badly thought out & you could have to park 4 different times to visit a range of shops

Restaurants are limited, & frankly boring

The theatre is badly laid out

The cinema is nice but parking is tricky again; the beach is OK but I prefer Sea Palling

And dont get me started on Salcombe in Devon, not a hot dog to be had anywhere.

I don't want a restaurant at the seaside.

I want proper seaside fish and chips.

The last time I went to Yarmouth we stayed at the park resort at California Cliffs.

Fab beach just across the road.

We're going to gorleston this year, but plan to explore Norfolk, taking my dc on the snail ride is definitely on my list of things to do though, loved that ride when I was little!
