Is it worth paying extra to be in a certain part of the site? Trying to get as cheap as possible but would pay more if you recommended it...

Children will be 4 and 7. Never done centre parcs before so all advice greatly received.

It can be a real drag if you are on the outskirts of the site. You have to walk for miles. Check where the villas are on the map and see if you can specifcy one when booking.

Or take your bikes!

Yes, were planning on taking bikes....

suppose it might be miserable if it's wet weather...

was wondering if that would be a quiet time on the site though and they may place everyone fairly near the centre??? guess it's a gamble...

If you've got bikes you should be fine. You can hire bikes there with a pod to put the wee ones (and shopping) in. We were quite near the centre and it almost rendered our bikes obsolete as we could walk everywhere so easily Grin Hope you enjoy - we had a fabulous time, am jealous!

If it's half term you can guarantee the site will be full and I mean full. Unless you go mid week out of school holidays Center Parcs tend to be sold out.

If you all have bikes we are not talking long distances here. Just remember you don't have to follow the road signs as there is a one way system for cars not bikes.

The weather doesn't matter as there's loads to do indoors, you can spend the whole time in the swimming dome in you want.
